Marketing Manager

Greenwich St. Jewelers is an independent fine jewelry boutique and website that is currently expanding. Located in downtown Manhattan, we present a curated assortment of jewelry from sought-after and emerging designers, exquisite custom design work, and an extensive selection of engagement and wedding rings.

We do all of this with a smart, talented team dedicated to best-in-class service that consistently delivers on our brand promise. 

We are thrilled to be expanding our team to include a Marketing Manager for Greenwich St. Jewelers. This person is responsible for leading marketing, social media, public relations and website activities for our growing business. An exciting opportunity to work with incredible fine jewelry, interesting designers and a strong ownership story to generate ongoing attention, build awareness and increase sales. This role is perfect for a natural storyteller, connector and strategist who can create and execute, strategize and inspire. This position also manages the Digital Sales and Marketing Coordinator. 


  • MARKETING
  • • Work with executive team to refine overarching brand communication and vision and develop brand, marketing and consumer engagement strategies
  • • Devise and drive the annual marketing calendar, overseeing the design and delivery of all marketing collateral and communications campaigns
  • • Strategically align all customer touchpoints including store windows, emails, website collateral, and advertising
  • • Manage timelines and production schedules and ensure all approvals and deadlines are met
  • • Manage annual marketing budget
  • • Plan and execute effective e-mail marketing campaigns to support overarching brand and sales objectives
  • • Leverage tools, process and data to measure and manage campaign effectiveness/ROI using data to optimize efforts and influence decision making going forward
  • • Manage Digital Sales and Marketing Coordinator on marketing and website tasks

  • PUBLIC RELATIONS
  • • Work proactively to identify and produce strong storytelling opportunities, press releases, and PR opportunities
  • • Develop and maintain relationships with media, bloggers and key influencers
  • • Cultivate relationships with and manage outreach to digital PR players and select partners, securing brand enhancing coverage
  • • Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and help execute partnership terms and criteria
  • • Act as point of contact for media inquiries about our company, products and projects and respond quickly and accurately
  • • Write press releases, quotes, copy and promotional material as needed
  • • Plan and execute special events
  • • Manage Digital Sales and Marketing Coordinator on marketing and website tasks

  • SOCIAL MEDIA
  • • Direct social media strategy to increase brand engagement and awareness, client retention, site traffic, and online sales
  • • Create and apply content calendar, moderating posts and engagement with the goal of real time optimization
  • • Manage all content creation required for social media posts (photos, videos, copy)
  • • Direct publishing of social media content that reflects the brand voice across all channels with an emphasis on Instagram and Facebook
  • • Use analytics tools to analyze, report and optimize social media efforts

  • WEBSITE
  • • Oversee development of website across all areas – design, content and analytics
  • • Use digital marketing strategies to generate and improve quality online traffic to the website
  • • Create and manage online content calendar to reflect seasonal content and shoppable editorial that aligns with sales and marketing objectives
  • • Proactively manage external agencies and source/manage vendors
  • • Lead ongoing e-commerce optimization and enhancement work
  • • Establish reporting protocol and identify key KPIs while monitoring traffic and user behavior
  • • Measure performance of e-commerce and digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals
  • • Identify areas for improvement, set timelines for enacting change and see projects through to completion

  • Ideal candidates will have:
  • • 5+ years of work experience in brand or performance marketing in the retail/luxury/fashion space
  • • A strong understanding of omnichannel strategies for sales & marketing
  • • An excellent understanding of paid, earned & owned channels
  • • Well-versed in the changing marketing/pr/social media landscape
  • • Flawless verbal & written communication skills
  • • Ability to facilitate strategic and creative brainstorming and help translate and map out ideas to actionable projects and process
  • • Strong idea generation, attention to detail and project management skills
  • • Experience in managing teams and agencies
