We’re looking for someone who loves the art of jewelry as much as they love building connections with other people, an empath, a visionary, and a connoisseur to join our team in our new Tribeca Flagship boutique. An experienced, fine jewelry sales professional who is passionate about sharing the fashion and beauty of jewelry, and celebrating the meaning it brings to life. If you’re a fit for this role, you’re a natural salesperson and connector, who loves other people and has an eye for style, and has a strong background in fashion, styling, and designer fine jewelry. You’re a smart and driven dreamer, who loves working independently but also values the synergy a strong team can bring, and values feedback and being held accountable to the highest standard of excellence. You use your empathic superpowers to help clients discover pieces they’ll treasure for life.
In this position, you’ll:
- Draw on your knowledge and direct experience of selling designer fine jewelry, demonstrating an enthusiastic and in depth knowledge of luxury fashion, fine jewelry and styling.
- Continue your history of working in similar luxury retail environments, with strong sales performance and a service mentality grounded in empathy.
- Showcase a passion and enthusiasm for all things jewelry including design, diamonds, gemstones, and fabrication.
- Use social media, text messaging, and traditional forms of communication to build lasting relationships with clientele and help guide them through a lifelong jewelry journey.
- Thrive on the ability to learn quickly in a fast paced and ever evolving environment
- Demonstrate an organized, detail oriented, and self starting mindset, with the flexibility to work weekends.
Our dream Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist has:
- An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on meeting sales goals. You have a track record of proven success in previous, similar positions, and have a growth mindset that inspires you to keep achieving.
- At least three years previous experience selling designer fine jewelry and/or high-end fashion in a luxury retail environment. Experience selling diamonds and/or GIA certificatiopn a plus.
- An enthusiastic and engaging personality, which you express with exceptional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with connecting with new and existing clients to build and maintain lifelong client relationships, using text messaging, social media platforms, and traditional communication methods. You have an agility with computers, email, and social media that serves you in every relationship and a client development mindset that has proven successful.
- A team mindset with a company first mentality. You see the importance of collaborating with others to achieve goals.
- A strong sense of accountability, when you make mistakes, you own them.
- Loves to learn new things and grow - we have a company culture that continually supports and encourages both team and individual development.

On the job you’ll be:
- Supporting our team of Jewelry Sales Specialists through their client interactions, helping to streamline all aspects of each sale, and generally making their lives easier
- Interacting directly with clients to help facilitate jewelry repairs, guide them through order status inquiries, packaging, and providing hospitality and warmth in every conversation
- Pitching in on merchandising, organizing jewelry within showcases and drawing on your creativity to create appealing visual displays throughout the store
- Supporting online orders by helping with sales and general client inquiries
- Interacting with clients to help them find the perfect piece for any occasion
- Taking on special projects to build your skills and broaden your horizons

- Has a retail background, and understands how to build client relationships. You’ve worked in luxury services, or aspire to do so, and are committed to the highest standard of care
- Is as passionate as we are about jewelry. You love learning about, discovering, and wearing jewelry, and are dedicated to the artform. If you have jewelry experience, even better!
- Crazy organized. The cards in your wallet are alphabetized. Your closet is a work of art. You love creating order and finding calm in the chaos, and have top notch computer skills to boot.
- Has experience working with computers, email, and social media. Bonus points if you’ve worked with Shopify, or are excited to learn how.
- Is energetic and passionate. Expanding your horizons is your favorite thing to do. You learn quickly, and draw inspiration from a fast-paced environment.
- Is all about teamwork. You love supporting the people around you to help them thrive, and have a cooperative, company first mindset.
- You hold yourself to a high standard at all times, and support the people around you in doing the same. You stay flexible, believe in learning from your mistakes, and value questions and feedback as tools for growth
