  • Your key responsibilities will be to:

Inventory Control Coordinator

We are currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. Greenwich St. Jewelers is an independent fine jewelry boutique and website that is currently expanding. Located in downtown Manhattan, we present a curated assortment of sought-after and emerging designers, exquisite custom design work, and an extensive selection of engagement and wedding rings.

The Inventory Control Coordinator reports directly to the Production Manager and assists the buying team in securing accurate stock levels for our store, website and client special orders. In addition, this role is responsible for inventory reporting and analysis, diamond and gemstone sourcing for jewelry production, and quality control to ensure a superior client experience.


  • Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • • Process all incoming and outgoing inventory and gemstones with accuracy
  • • Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing guidelines
  • • Review daily and prepare monthly inventory reports to prepare orders and report sell-through
  • • Manage all processing including re-orders, new orders and RTV's
  • • Report inventory changes and credits to accounting
  • • Source gemstones and diamonds upon requests
  • • Coordinate and participate in physical inventory
  • • Provide support to the showroom by handling client inquires and general information requests as needed

  • Ideal candidates will have:
  • • Bachelor's Degree
  • • Gemology degree or education

Bench Jeweler - Part Time

The custom and repair shop is a part of Greenwich St. Jewelers' heritage and a defining characteristic of the company. The ideal candidate for the part-time bench jeweler position will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar environment. This role will work with our Master Jeweler to facilitate the processing and completion of client and stock jobs, repairs, and antique jewelry restoration. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.   • Skills Required:
  • • 3+ years experience in a similar position
  • • Experience working with platinum, yellow gold, & white gold
  • • Technical understanding of polishing, setting, and all jewelry manufacturing techniques
  • • Demonstrated experience with a laser welder machine
  • • Experience in antique jewelry restoration
  • • Ability to set diamonds and gemstones
  • • High polishing standards of all precious metals
  • • Significant experience with performing and troubleshooting jewelry repairs
  • • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and multiple staff levels
  • • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and partnership skills

Fine Jewelry Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will oversee all jewelry production and quality control of special orders, repairs, and custom jewelry design. This is a key position within our company, and we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who will take ownership of this part of the business.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Spearhead the processing and completion of all special orders, custom orders and repairs of both client commissioned and store initiatives
  • • Manage the Production Assistant and Shop to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality control standards of all jewelry production Be the primary relationship manager for new and existing wholesale vendors and suppliers
  • • Source the raw materials, diamonds and gemstones needed for jewelry production to ensure cost effectiveness & profitability
  • • Monitor all client orders and repair jobs to ensure timely delivery and communications
  • • Manage all in-house custom initiatives, execution and delivery for the company jewelry line
  • • Use gemological expertise to identify and value items as needed
  • • Communicate with owners to improve processes and procedures as needed

  • The skills needed for success are:
  • • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • • Graduate Gemologist Degree
  • • Previous managerial experience within a similar role
  • • Excellent knowledge of fine jewelry construction and standards with CAD familiarity
  • • Proactive personality with a positive and solutions oriented mentality
