Experienced Bench Jeweler
Greenwich St. Jewelers is seeking a skilled, experienced Bench Jeweler to join our team; someone who loves the art of fine jewelry as much as they do constructing it. This position will work alongside our Master Jeweler and focus on fabrication of in-house collections in gold and platinum, custom-design client commissions and perform general jewelry repairs.

In this job, you’ll:
- Construct and create both one of a kind and production jewels within G.St standards and timelines
- Carve wax models and also fabricate handmade jewelry from metal, including gold and platinum
- Show comfort and proficiency setting diamonds and gemstones in prongs and bezels
- Repair all types of jewelry and ring sizings using both a laser and torch
- Responsible for cast cleaning, assembly and repair of platinum and gold jewelry of various levels of complexity with both diamonds and precious stones
- Demonstrate the ability to follow directions from Master Jeweler and Production Director
- Provide materials and labor estimates for custom jobs for pricing consideration
Our dream Bench Jeweler has:
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience, ideally in a high-jewelry environment
- Superior knowledge setting both precious and semi-precious gemstones of all shapes and sizes
- Experience assembling fine jewelry in 14k, 18k and platinum from scratch
- All types of ring sizings
- Wax and mold making experience
- Proficient with both torch and laser for soldering and welding
- A team player with the ability to follow directions and adhere to timelines
