Fall Journal: Discover What's In-Store This Season

The Latest at G.St!
This month has been so exciting for the Greenwich St. team as we celebrated our official induction into the National Jeweler Retailer Hall of Fame, along with five other amazing jewelers who bring a unique set of gifts to the industry we adore. As second generation jewelers, it was so incredible to see our family’s legacy celebrated in this way, and we’re so grateful to be a part of this amazing organization. We’ve also been honored with a nomination for a prestigious Gem Award in the Retail Excellence category, an incredible honor to cap off the successful launch of our TriBeCa location. We’re huge admirers of the past nominees and winners of the Gem Awards, and to be nominated for G. St.’s work is truly such an honor.

Fall in Tribeca is one of our favorite times of year. It’s the time when we host the most shopping events in our boutique, and it feels like the whole neighborhood is getting into the autumn spirit. From outdoor celebrations and art gallery crawls to the holiday parties just around the corner, we love the opportunities this season presents to connect with our community of artists, makers, and dreamers.
We’ve also been thinking a lot about what’s to come in Greenwich Street’s next season. Here’s what we’ve been dreaming up—the events, projects, and pieces we can’t wait to share with you this season and beyond.
New Looks from Diamonds Do Good
One of Christina’s favorite projects that gives back is the Diamonds Do Good bracelet, with a portion of proceeds supporting and empowering people in diamond communities around the world. For the past year she’s been working on this bracelet initiative with her fellow Diamonds Do Good board members to support the Flaviana Matata Foundation. A gorgeous gender neutral design was created to highlight the message of growth, unity, and equality - it’s a statement stunner crafted from matte black onyx beads accented with diamonds and colored gemstones. Four equally spaced black diamonds serve as symbols of unity and equality, while a green tsavorite at the pulse point symbolizes life and rebirth, and a champagne diamond represents the wearer’s inner light. Christina has been involved in the design process from day one, and she’s so excited to share our exclusive this limited edition beauty available both in-store and online at G.St.

Fall Events Bring Excitement IRL
One of the things we missed most during the pandemic was sharing the excitement of real world interactions with our jewelry community, so this Fall we’re making in-person events a priority at G.St. Shop with designers, get personal styling suggestions, and soak up all the newness. If you prefer to keep it online, we’ve got you covered. All shows have virtual appointments available, plus online selections you can shop at home. We’re welcoming some of our favorite designers to the store for pop-ups, collection launches, and more. We recently hosted NYC icon Eva Fehren to launch BOA, her new capsule collection, where we celebrated and sipped on amazing rosé cider with our fabulous guests. Alice Cicolini stopped by in September to share her new Jacobean collection, inspired by sacred patterns and ancient techniques. Check out our Events Calendar to see what’s up next and book in advance!
Celebrating NYC Jewelry Week
NYC Jewelry week is the must-visit event for all jewelry collectors, designers, makers, and fans—and we look forward to it every year. It’s so amazing to celebrate the best of the jewelry world, checking in with old friends and amplifying new designers. If you’re not in NYC, you can still soak up the good stuff with tons of virtual events and exhibitions that offer long distance versions of the in-person experience. We’re also hosting a special event to celebrate the launch of the HERE WE ARE x MUZO capsule collections on November 17th with designers like Amanu Itomi, Embirikos, Harlin Jones, Made by Malyia, and more. Each of the designers have created one of a kind pieces using emeralds from the legendary Muzo mine that we can’t wait for you to discover! All the cutting edge pieces will be available to shop at Greenwich St. Jewelers through mid-February.

Custom Comfort

Last but not least, the arrival of autumn means that winter, and gifting season, is right around the corner! Jennifer recently treated herself with a new ring she commissioned from our Master Jeweler featuring her birthstone, aquamarine. She started by collecting inspiration images and then shared with the jeweler what was most important in the design: a bold, gold ring she can wear every day. It was then handcrafted with the gem flush-set into a mid-century inspired design. The stunning ring has become something of a signature statement piece she wears everywhere she goes.
To create or gift the design of your dreams, book an appointment now to get started on the design and creation process with a custom specialist. It takes several weeks to make something by hand, so starting now is the key to creating an impactful piece to be cherished for a lifetime.

G.St in Conversation

There’s nothing we love more than connecting with our friends and colleagues in the New York jewelry world, which is why Jennifer had such a blast in her recent conversation with photographer Alain Simic and NYCJW founder JB Jones on their podcast Rough Cut.
Delving deep into the importance of introducing spiritual practices and rituals into the modern workplace, the trio discussed some of the topics nearest and dearest to the G.St family’s heart. Give it a listen here!
