Artist and designer Jameel Mohammed founded KHIRY in 2016 as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2021, he was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the Art and Style category, a finalist for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund, and a nominee for CFDA American Emerging Designer of the Year. He is also the recipient of the Fashion Scholarship Fund Accelerator Grant and the Harlem’s Fashion Row Icon 360 Award.
