A few months ago, we had the opportunity to meet a lovely couple, Paul and Paloma, who chose us to buy their engagement ring. Paul and Paloma met while they were both performing in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Check out their romantic story below, and how they found their perfect ring.
I never loved jewelry when I was younger. As a dancer, it’s difficult for me to wear anything besides tiny stud earrings or a small necklace. However, when Paul and I started dating he changed my mind. He has spoiled me with the most stunning pieces of jewelry and the most incredible engagement ring I could even dream up. He first found Greenwich St. Jewelers when looking for a few necklaces for me for Christmas. He began working with Robin, and they built a long term relationship looking for the perfect jewels for me, from designers like Gurhan! I have learned to love jewelry and love that they were given to me from someone I love.
My engagement ring is my dream ring. A little over a year after we started dating, Paul took me to look at rings “just for fun.” He wanted to get an idea of what I like since I have an untraditional style. Little did I know, Paul had already been to the store and shopped with Robin, who helped him find a designer that he liked and wanted to show me. The moment I put the Single Stone ring on my finger, my heart was beating faster than it ever had before and I knew I totally loved it! I left just thinking that it was a fun day and nothing much of it after, until 8 months later, on the perfect night, Paul popped the question at my favorite place in the city. We were celebrating two years together and Paul had arranged for my parents and closest friends to come celebrate with us after I said yes! I am more in love than I ever believed possible and every time I look at the ring on my finger, I could explode with joy.
Paul and I are marrying next summer in the Swiss Mountains, and I’m so thankful for Robin and the team at Greenwich St. Jewelers. It’s truly wonderful to have a relationship with a jeweler that knows my name when I walk in and knows what I love. Now it’s time to come in and pick out HIS ring!
