Josef Arzili, the designer behind Azaara (formerly known as Zara X) is of Persian and Turkish descent. Azaara has become an overnight success and developed a very distinctive fan base with dignitaries and celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Patti Labelle, Becki Newton, Rebecca Gayheart, and many of the American Idols this season. Azaara has graced the pages of top magazines like InStyle, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and O Magazine. The buzz about Azaara has became so widespread that its original name Zara X was been changed to Azaara at the request of the prestigious Spanish clothier Zara, which now has stores in North American.
