SPRING FORWARD- Simple Steps to Make Spring

Some of our favorite spring runway looks, from pastels to safari-inspired, may seem intimidating at first glance.  How do you work these new styles into your current wardrobe?  The answer is simple; buy the basics- the pieces that will last more than one season- and make your look with accessories.  Here’s our guide on how to make Spring’s trends work for you:

PASTEL PARTY:  Pale, minty green is Spring’s newest, fresh color.  Make a bold statement with a coral-colored statement necklace, like this one from Gerard Yosca, paired with Jamie Joseph’s orange chalcedony earrings.  For a more subtle look, try our own Greenwich Collection morganite ring in rose gold.  Mixing pastels is an understated take on color-blocking and feels light and breezy for spring.

INTO THE WILD:  Safari-inspired trends were all over the runway this season.  From African prints to camouflage colors, this look will quickly become your summer staple.  Pair it with cool, textured accessories like Melissa Joy Manning’s black drusy stud earrings, our own Greenwich Collection mesh chain necklace, and agate beaded bracelets for a pop of color.

BACK TO THE FUTURE:  All fashion repeats itself, and this year, the 1920’s are having a moment.  A dress with a flowing silhouette will give you a prohibition-era look, while modern accessories keep your ensemble fresh.  Try Alexis Bittar’s Swarovski-encrusted drop earrings, liquid gold-plated ring, and clear Lucite bracelet.

Stack 'Em Up!

The season of bare arms is here and to be fully prepared you must have an “Arm Party”.  Coined by fashion blogger Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller,  an “Arm Party” is a fun, colorful and artfully messy stack of bracelets.  It’s the perfect trend for jewelry obsessed, bare armed beauties and here’s our guide on how to make it work for you.

LINKED IN:  Combine a link like Gorjana’s gold chain bracelet with stretchy beaded bracelets and a luminous accent bangle from Alexis Bittar for a fun, earth-toned stack with multiple textures.

CUFF LOVE:  A bold, animal-inspired cuff like our Greenwich Collection zebra cuff works perfectly with textural, thin wrap bracelets like Gorjana’s classic leather wrap and Alex Woo’s “Little Cord” bracelet in red.

BANGLED UP:  The ultimate complimentary colors, coral pink and seafoam green create a cheerful pairing.  Gerard Yosca’s enamel bracelets look great bordering Alexis Bittar’s seafoam Lucite bracelet, while the gold accents tie everything together.
